A Peek Inside the Ivy: JFK Jr.'s college app, Harvard loves Sarcasm (really) and no In-and-Out Burger?
Ivy League students are just like you. Except, you know, they go to an Ivy League school. Here’s A Peek Inside the Ivy for October 16
Someone stole from Brown and they’re not happy
John F. Kennedy Jr.’s college application could be yours for the price of $85,000.
The Associated Press reports, “Brown University is not happy that the college application of John F. Kennedy Jr. is up for sale online for $85,000, saying it was stolen and the school wants it back.”
The website MomentsInTime.com is selling the application among other documents from Kennedy Jr.’s time at Brown.
Hillary Clinton: Secretary of State, presidential candidate, professor?
Columbia University might hire Hillary Clinton as a university professor.
The New York Daily News reports, “The former U.S. Secretary of State and presidential nominee is in talks with Columbia University to take on a formal role at the Ivy League – and potentially house her archives there, multiple sources told the Daily News.”
The role of “University Professor” would allow Clinton, a former law professor, to lecture across a range of schools and departments.
Did you hear sarcasm makes you smarter!? No, really.
Harvard’s giving you a reason to be more sarcastic.
“Don’t send your kids to the Ivy League”
Former Yale professor William Deresiewicz’s anti-Ivy League argument.
